I am talking about Chandni Chowk restaurant located at 28, 6th Block, 80 Feet Road, Opp. IBP Petrol Bunk, Koramangala, Bangalore. Last Sunday I went to Chandni Chowk with my few friends for dinner. As I am believing in a religious in which we do not eat onion or garlic.
Me: "Is there any curry which does not contain onion or garlic?"
Waiter: "Yes Sir, We have few curries without onion or garlic. You can go for Palak Paner and XYZ (I forgot the name of other curry).
Me: "I want to go for Palak Paneer. Are you sure it is without onion or garlic?"
Waiter: "Yes sir. I will bring Palak Paneer without onion or garlic"
At the time of serving he said : "Here is your Palak Paneer without onion or garlic"
Me: "Thank you very much".
After eating first bite, I found some small pieces of onion in the curry. I asked why did you put onion in the curry when I ordered for a curry without onion or garlic. He said sorry just for formality.
But I had vow that If I eat food with onion or garlic, I will observe fast (no food, no water) for rest of the day. My one of the friend also had to observe fast because of this.
After this incidence, we can say that "Chandni Chowk does not respect religious".
If tomorrow it serve non-veg food to vegetarian people, it will be no surprise.
Please do not go to this type of restaurant.
